The game is set in a small town in Colorado, near the Blue Lake trail in 1992.
The town is relatively new and has little history attached to it. The founder was an adventurer in search for silver back in the gold rush. Due to its beauty and accessibility to water the town flourished and now is a mix of a tourist attraction and settling place. So the town was named after the clear waters and the proximity to the vale, Clearvale.
