Cam watched the bird fly away before turning back to Astrid "uhhhh so what was that all about?"

"I heard docs say it's the most important meal of the day or something like that."

"Oh a pop tart it's like a handheld pastry thing with a fruit paste filling and some have icing on top. They are alright just easy and fast when I'm running late."

"Sure thing, a few days from now we can go check it out." He said with a smile "So you grew up in a place with no comic store, that mean you've not been able to read comic books?"

"It's small. Downtown, a little off the main street. It's right next to an alley. I could show you after school sometime. They don't have a ton but the guy that runs it is pretty good about finding things if you're looking for something."

"Yeah eggs and bacon or sausage is really common. Toast with butter or jelly or jam too. Cereal is pretty common since it's so quick and doesn't have to be cooked. I mostly eat cereal or a couple pop tarts since mom and dad both have to be at work early."

He shrugged "its not that unusual, a lot of places have sweet pastries for breakfast time. At least from what I heard. We might do it more than other countries though." He conceded, his knowledge of other countries not terribly deep

"We also have soft waffles but they are usually big and thick so you wouldn't carry them around and put stuff in them."

Cam slung his backpack onto the floor and sat down "what'd you make today? Some kind of soup?" He asked clued in by the thermos and bowls.

"That is twenty minutes per class so usually ends up being like and hour or so of homework a night." He clarified "but I'd be happy to hang out sometime and draw together of show you how I draw animals more, might make it easier for you."
